September 15, 2024 Bulletin Announcement

Thank You:  We want to thank the congregation for the cards and congratulations on our 70th Anniversary.  Also for the beautiful bouquet of flowers from the Reformed Church Women.
-Jerold & Sophie Schoolmeester

Thank You:  We are immensely grateful for your continued support of Edge Youth.  The recent softball game and Sliced Pork Sandwich Fundraiser was a success!  We are very appreciative for the $2,189 we were able to generate through the concession stand and pork fundraiser. Your kindness means so much to us as we gear up for a new and captivating year ahead!

Bloodmobile:  There will be a Red Cross blood drive at the First Christian Reformed Church in Edgerton on Monday, September 16 from 12:30 until 6:30.  Please call Betty at 507-227-8416 or fbhuisken@gmail.com to make or to confirm an appointment.  We are always looking for new donors.  There is an urgent need for blood.  Every 2 seconds someone/somewhere in the U.S.A. is in need of blood.  Anyone 16 yrs (with parents permission) or older and in good health is able to donate.

Soup Supper:  It’s soup time!  The RCW Fall Soup Supper will be on   October 2, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.  Now is the time to sign up for soups, desserts, and work times.  Men and women are needed to help as this is an entire church event!  There is a sign-up poster by the welcome desk and soup recipes are there as they have been revised.  Your help and generosity is GREATLY appreciated.

Women’s Bible Study:  All women are invited to “Behold & Believe” as we take a closer look at what Jesus says about himself.  Jesus describes himself as the bread of life, the light of the world, the good shepherd, and more.  His bold “I AM” statements invite us to behold him—and then to trust him. The study will include teaching videos on 7 “I Am” statements as well as a study guide.   Coffee Break will begin September 18, 2024 at First Christian Reformed Church.   The Morning Group will meet at 9:30 in the Fellowship Room with Story Hour and nursery provided. The evening Group will meet at 6:30 in the Council Room (No Story Hour or nursery).  Whether you are a Christian who needs to behold Jesus again and again or someone who is curious about Jesus and wants to explore Christianity, this study is for you!
