Children's Ministry at First Reformed is coordinated by our Resource Director, Nancy Wassink, and is made possible by numerous volunteers who generously give of their time to disciple our covenant children.
As the final hymn of the worship service begins students in preschool through eighth grade are dismissed to the basement for refreshments, singing, and scripture memory. After this students are dismissed to age divided Sunday School classes.
Following the worship service high school students gather in the upstairs Youth Room for Bible Study.
Join us for L.I.F.T. (Life in Faith Together) most Wednesday evenings during the school year. Each week we serve a delicious meal for all ages at 6:15 PM followed by programs for all ages.
Our programming for students focuses on teaching Scripture. We are aided in this by teaching the Children's Catechism to our K-5 students. A typical Wednesday evening at L.I.F.T. includes singing, recreation, teaching time, and reviewing memory work.
