March 30, 2025 Church Announcements | First Reformed: An Evangelical Presbyterian Church
Jr. High Fusion Taco Supper: On Wednesday, April 16, we will be having our Jr. High Taco Supper from 5:30-7:00 pm. All are invited to join us for tacos & fellowship. The money raised will go towards their Anchored Catechism Camp in Okoboji in August. Thank you for supporting our youth!
Music Festival: Join us for the Annual Music Festival at First CRC of Edgerton April 13, 2:30 p.m. Southwest Christian’s choirs, along with individual and choral groups from area churches, will present selections during this afternoon of praise. Members of the audience will be invited to join the mass choir for the Hallelujah Chorus. An offering will be collected for Southwest Christian High School (sponsored as a fundraiser by Circle #12).
Words of Hope: We have not received the next quarter’s Words of Hope devotionals. We are in contact with them and hope that we receive them soon.
Maundy Thursday: You are invited to the Maundy Thursday Gathering on Thursday, April 17. 9:00 a.m. Coffee and Rolls 9:30 a.m. Program begins. Special guest speaker is Jason Snyder. Jason has been on several medical mission trips to Niger, South Africa. Offering will to the local Food Shelf.
RCW Annual “Soupless Supper”: We will be having a fundraiser for updating kitchen needs, and a moving base for the electric keyboard in the sanctuary. We will be collecting March 30 through April 13.
Coffee Break will meet April 2. There is no Coffee Break on March 26 due to spring break at the schools. April 2 is the last session for this season for morning Coffee Break.
Easter Basket Silent Auction: Edgebrook GSS-Way will be putting on an Easter Basket Silent Auction again this year. Anyone willing to donate a basket is welcome to do so. Baskets are due March 28. Bidding will be March 31 –April 11. Basket pick up April 14-18.
Anchored Jr High Catechism Camp: Middle school students, get ready for an unforgettable experience at Anchored, our three-day, two-night catechism camp at Lake Okoboji! Join us August 4-6 as we dig into the foundations of our faith, build lasting friendships, and enjoy activities together. This year's theme is Anchored: Firm in Christ, based on Hebrews 6:17-20, reminding us that our hope in Christ is a sure and steadfast anchor for the soul. This camp is designed for current 5th-8th grade students. Whether you’ve been in catechism for years or are just beginning, this is a great opportunity to grow in faith and deepen your understanding of God’s truth. Space is limited, so don’t wait! A $50 deposit is required to secure your spot. Space is limited so be sure to register today at https://anchored.efrc.me. The deadline for deposits is April 16. SW MN Pro-life group will hold their annual Pro-Life Spring Rally on Monday, April 14th at 7:00 p.m. at S.W. Christian High School: 550 Elizabeth St., Edgerton, MN. The speaker will be Carrie Meyers, executive director of Choices Pregnancy Center in Marshall & Redwood Falls. Carrie will be sharing her personal story of how she got involved & what the Pregnancy Center does to help women with an unplanned pregnancy. Please come to support this worthy cause.
