Foundations | Genesis 1-11

Genesis 1–11 lays the foundation for how we understand God, the world, and ourselves. In these opening chapters, we see that God is the Creator of all things, that His world is ordered and good, and that humanity is made in His image.

These chapters also explain why the world is broken. Through sin, death and disorder enter creation, and the effects of the fall are seen in every part of life. Yet even here, God reveals His justice, His mercy, and His promise to redeem.

This section walks through the early chapters of Genesis, tracing the themes of creation, fall, judgment, and the beginnings of God’s redemptive plan.
