 Midweek Meals:  We are looking for another Midweek meal team.
They usually prep/serve around 4-5 easy meals during the Midweek season. Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow community members and children. Please sign up and join us if you're available and willing to lend a hand. A signup sheet is on the coffee counter in the entryway. If you have any questions, please get in touch with Bev Van't Hof. Sunday School Kick-off & Potluck:  You're all invited to our Sunday School Kick-off and potluck on Sunday, September 8, immediately following fellowship. It's a wonderful opportunity to gather as a congregation, enjoy delicious BBQs and drinks provided by us, and share in the joy of the new season ahead. We would like to encourage you to bring a dish to share. Whether you're a regular attendee or new to our church family, everyone is warmly welcome.

Edge Youth Softball GameSeptember 8 at 6:00 p.m. Come out and enjoy our annual softball game! As Edge Youth takes on the members of church! This night is a great time enjoyed by all ages! Come out for a fun evening of fellowship, laughter, and chanting for your favorite team. Mark your calendars for 6:00 p.m., Sunday,

Edge Youth Fundraiser:  Sliced Pork Meal - free-will donations to support Edge Youth. September 11 from 5-6:30 p.m. Meal includes Sliced Pork Sandwich, baked beans, chips, and homemade dessert! We look forward to seeing you Wednesday, September 11th, as you show support to the youth!

Note:  The family of Jerold and Sophie Schoolmeester will be serving cake after the Sunday service on Sunday, September 1st in honor of their parent’s 70th Wedding anniversary.

SWC 7th Annual Tractor Ride Fundraiser: Saturday, September 14 beginning at the American Reformed Church in Luverne.  

Hope Haven Talsma ATV & Horse Ride Benefit: Ready for an adventure? Bring your ATV's, side by sides, dirt bikes, or horses and join Hope Haven for their Talsma Benefit Ride at Talsma’s Trail Park on Saturday, September 14. Talsma’s Trail Park is an ATV park located along the Missouri River in Southeast South Dakota. Don't miss this fun opportunity to support Hope Haven International Ministries! Hope Haven Rick Harmelink Commemorative Trail Ride: Saddle up for the Rick Harmelink Commemorative Trail Ride on Saturday, September 7 at Newton Hills! The ride features six miles of horse trails filled with scenic hills and trees. For over ten years, Rich helped make this fundraiser a success, and now you can ride in his honor. Find out all the details about the ride, parking, lunch (grilled pork loin), and more at hopehaven.org/events. All proceeds benefit Hope Haven International Ministries.

Grief Support:  Pipestone County Hospice will be holding a six-week adult grief support group from September 24th to May 29th at the Pipestone County Hospice House. Grief support groups allow individuals mourning the loss of a loved one the chance to come together in a safe environment to discuss their experiences. Mourners are given a space to; share his/her thoughts and emotions. The group will discover coping skills, discuss identity changes, and find support. Meetings will be on Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the Pipestone County Hospice House.  For more information or to register please call (507) 825-6024.
