Devotions: Sealed for Salvation

Day 1: God’s Sovereign Care

Reading: Psalm 91:1-6
Reflection: Just as God seals His people in Revelation 7, He promises His protection throughout Scripture. Psalm 91 reminds us that God is our refuge and fortress, sheltering us under His wings. This assurance helps us face life’s uncertainties with confidence in His care.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my refuge and protector. Help me to trust in Your sovereignty in every season of life. Amen.

Day 2: A Global Family of Faith

Reading: Galatians 3:26-29
Reflection: Revelation 7 highlights the diversity of God’s people. Galatians reminds us that in Christ, we are one family, regardless of ethnicity or background. The gospel’s reach knows no bounds, uniting people from every tribe and nation.
Prayer: Father, thank You for making me part of Your global family through Christ. Help me to share this good news with others. Amen.

Day 3: The Power of the Blood of the Lamb

Reading: Isaiah 1:18
Reflection: Revelation 7 describes the robes washed white in the Lamb’s blood. Isaiah 1:18 assures us that God cleanses us completely, removing the stain of sin through His grace. This transformative power is central to our salvation.
Prayer: Lamb of God, thank You for washing away my sin. Help me to live in the joy and freedom of Your redemption. Amen.

Day 4: Worship Rooted in Salvation

Reading: Psalm 100
Reflection: The multitude in Revelation 7 praises God for His salvation. Psalm 100 invites us to worship with gladness, acknowledging that we are His people. Our praise flows from our gratitude for His saving work.
Prayer: Lord, I worship You with joy for the salvation You have given me. May my life be a reflection of Your goodness. Amen.

Day 5: Eternal Comfort in Christ

Reading: John 14:1-6
Reflection: The Lamb’s promise to wipe away every tear in Revelation 7 is echoed in Jesus’ words in John 14. He prepares a place for us and assures us of eternal peace in His presence.
Prayer: Jesus, thank You for the promise of eternal comfort and rest in Your presence. Help me to hold fast to this hope today. Amen.
