Day 1: The Sovereign Throne of God

• Reading: Psalm 93

• Reflection: This psalm reminds us that God reigns with majesty and power, even when the world seems chaotic. Like the waves that seem relentless, life’s struggles can overwhelm us. But the psalmist’s focus on God’s unshakeable throne reminds us that God’s power is above all. John’s vision in Revelation 4 draws us to the same truth—that God is unmovable and in control.

• Prayer: Lord, help me find peace in Your eternal rule, knowing that You reign above all. Set my heart on Your majesty and sovereignty. Amen.

Day 2: Worship in the Presence of God

• Reading: Isaiah 6:1-5

• Reflection: In Isaiah’s vision, he encounters God in His full holiness and majesty. The seraphim’s cry, "Holy, holy, holy," reminds us of the unceasing worship before God’s throne in Revelation 4. Worship begins with recognizing who God is and responding to His holiness with awe. Let this vision deepen your own worship, moving beyond ritual to true reverence for God’s greatness.

• Prayer: Almighty God, You are holy beyond words. May my heart respond to You in awe, and may my life reflect true worship of Your majesty. Amen.

Day 3: The Heavenly High Priest

• Reading: Hebrews 4:14-16

• Reflection: Revelation 4 shifts our gaze to the heavenly throne where Jesus, our High Priest, intercedes on our behalf. Unlike the earthly high priests, He sits at the right hand of God, offering us access and assurance. As we reflect on this, remember that in every trial, Jesus is present, interceding and offering grace. We can approach God’s throne with confidence.

• Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for being my High Priest, drawing me into the presence of the Father. Help me approach the throne of grace with confidence, finding mercy and help. Amen.

Day 4: Persevering Through Persecution

• Reading: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

• Reflection: Paul reminds us to focus on the "unseen" and "eternal" things of God amid trials. Like the early believers facing persecution, we too can fix our eyes on heaven’s throne rather than earthly hardships. Though outwardly we face trials, God renews our hope and strength inwardly. By keeping our gaze on Him, we find strength to endure with courage.

• Prayer: Father, help me to fix my gaze on Your eternal promises, especially in times of trial. Renew my heart daily as I trust in Your strength and love. Amen.

Day 5: Casting Our Crowns

• Reading: Philippians 3:7-11

• Reflection: The elders casting their crowns before God’s throne in Revelation 4 demonstrates true surrender. Like Paul, they consider everything as loss compared to knowing Christ. When we see God’s greatness, we are moved to surrender our achievements and pride, finding our worth in Him alone. Consider what crowns you may need to cast at God’s feet, acknowledging His authority and grace.

• Prayer: Lord, I lay my achievements, pride, and worries at Your feet. Help me to trust in Your power and embrace a humble heart before You. Amen.
